We are pleased to work with Hobbs School Catering (formerly Principals Contract Catering) who provide nutritious meals daily, cooked on the premises.

Children from reception to year 2 are entitled to a school meal each day as part of the Government's 'universal offer', there is no cost to parents.

For pupils in Nursery, year 3 and 4 parents can pay for a school meal. Meals cost £2.50 per day from September 2023. This can be paid in cash and must be made in advance; usually at the beginning of the week or termly/half termly in an envelope with your child's name and class written on and handed into the school office. It is possible to pay by bank transfer stating your child's name/LLS as a reference to:

For those families who do not want to purchase a school meal children should bring a healthy packed lunch to school. They will eat in the dining hall with the other children. Parents are asked to put their child’s lunch in a named lunch bag, we are unable to refrigerate lunches.

It is important that all families who are entitled to free school meals apply as it provides additional funding to school to support the children's education. You may be entitled if you are in receipt of any of the following:

• income support
• income based job seekers allowance
• employment and support allowance (income related)
• guarantee element of the state pension credit
• National Asylum Seekers Support (NASS)
• child tax credit (not working tax credit) and have an annual income that does not exceed £16,190
