As Part of our 'Extreme Earth' topic the children have been making, labeling and erupting volcanoes. Here are some photos from each stage...
On Friday, we were really excited to have Dr Balme visit us, to teach us about volcanoes. All year 4 children loved learning about volcanoes from an expert. The children asked lots of interesting questions and we learned some really interesting facts. Here are some photos taken during the talk..

I would just like to confirm how spellings will be allocated to the children.
Children will receive 5 weekly spelling focus words and 5 words from the Year 3/4 Common Exception Word list. Children have had their spellings assessed this week. From this assessment your child will be put into a spelling group by 16/10/21. Each week they will focus on their groups spellings. The spelling will be included on the homework bulletin.
